De parkeersensoren zijn de eenvoudige oplossing voor correct achteruitrijden. Ze verminderen het risico op aanrijdingen met mensen of voorwerpen die zich buiten het zicht van de bestuurder bevinden (lage muren, leuningen of zelfs kleine kinderen). Parkeersensoren achter - zijn verzonken in de achterbumper gemonteerd, - bederven de esthetiek van het voertuig op geen enkele manier, - worden geactiveerd wanneer de achteruitversnelling wordt ingeschakeld, - de sensoren berekenen met behulp van ultrasone golven de afstand tussen het voertuig en de mogelijke obstructie, - informeer de bestuurder over hoeveel ruimte er achter het voertuig is met behulp van een akoestisch signaal via de luidspreker of als weergave op het infotainmentscherm. Een beschrijving van de werking van de parkeersensoren achter, gedetailleerde informatie over het gebruik ervan en een visuele weergave van het bewaakte gebied vindt u in de gebruikershandleiding – zie het hoofdstuk "Parkeerhulp" in het hoofdstuk "Hulpsystemen". Deze sensoren worden op precies dezelfde manier in de achterbumper gemonteerd als de serieproductieversie van dit product; de montageprocedure vindt u in de ŠKODA Reparatiehandleiding. Instructies voor het doorvoeren en leggen van de bedrading voor de achterste sensoren in het voertuiginterieur vindt u in de montagehandleiding voor de achterste sensoren 658 054 630B.
